Maria Mika Maxine Medina was born on 22 February 1991 in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.Best known as Maxine Medina is a Filipino designer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe-Philippines 2016 and will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

Maxine Medina, graduated from the College of Saint Benilde and the Philippine School of Interior Design with an experience in designing residential condominiums. She is also a commercial and print model.

Maxine Medina won and crown crowned Miss Universe-Philippines 2016 at the Binibining Pilipinas 2016 on 17 April 2016 held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
