Vera Ann Farmiga was born on August 6, 1973 in Clifton, New Jersey, U.S.an American actress and film director. Studies at  St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic School in Newark, New Jersey, and toured with a Ukrainian folk dancing ensemble called the Syzokryli. she also a classically trained pianist.

Vera Ann Farmiga born to Mykhailo "Michael" Farmiga, and Lubomyra "Luba" (née Spas). She graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School and study of Performing Arts at Syracuse University which she graduated in 1995. Vera is a Second of  seven sibling the older brother name Victor (1972), and the eldest doughter other younger sibling name Stephan(1975), Nadia(1977), Alexander (1988), Laryssa (1991), and Taissa(1994).

Vera Married to Renn Hawkey a Musician and Carpenter on September 13, 2008, the couple have one son name Fynn McDonnell Hawkey (January 15, 2009) and one daughter Gytta Lubov Hawkey (November 4, 2010). Vera Ann and Renn Hawkey lived in Upstate New York Move to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada when Farmiga started working on Bates Motel.
